Terms & Conditions

This terms and conditions and other information from ourselves forms the contract between you and us. Please take the time to read these terms and conditions.

Bookings will be only accepted with a deposit of 30% of the total holiday cost or 30% of your total bill amount. In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to make full payment for your holiday at the time of booking, or soon after, in order to secure your reservation, in such cases you will be informed accordingly. The balance must be paid at least 56 days before your departure date (from the point of starting your travel). If you book within 56 of departure you must pay the total price of the holiday at the time of booking. If payment is not received in time, your travel arrangements will be cancelled and, in the case of the balance not being paid in time, your deposit will be retained.

Changes or cancellation of confirmed booking by us
Exceptionally, we may need to make alterations to your travel arrangements and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We will inform you of these changes as soon as is reasonably possible. If a major change becomes necessary, except where these changes are due to reasons of 'Force Majeure', you can either accept the change of arrangements or cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel your reservations and, in this event we will refund all moneys paid. We cannot pay any compensation or accept liability where the cancellation is made as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care.

Changing your booking
If you want to change any detail of your booking, we will do our best to help but it may not always be possible. While we normally do not charge any fees for changes of the bookings, the accommodation provider or service providers (whose services we offer to you) may charge an amendment fee to change your booking, this amendment fee will be payable by you.  In general ( but  not always) it can be said that the more closer you are to your departure date , the more difficult it is to bring changes to your booking and higher is the amendment fee. Certain travel arrangements & services  cannot be changed after a reservation has been made and any alteration will incur a 100% cancellation charge.

Cancellation of confirmed booking by you
After acceptance of the booking if you cancel your travel arrangements or do not pay the balance by the prescribed time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and in such cases you will forfeit the deposit. In addition, if either event occurs within 56 days of departure, cancellation charges become payable by you. These charges are based on how many days before your booked departure we receive your cancellation and are calculated as a percentage of the total cost of your holiday. Cancellation of your travel arrangements must be made in writing. Cancellation charges made by our suppliers may be higher than the cost of the deposit and we reserve the right to pass such fees on to you. We will advise of such charges before cancellation.

In most cases our prices are quoted in United States Dollars, However in the case a hotelier or service provider quotes us prices in any other currency we also quote you in the same currency, this is to reduce any exchange rate risks and losses you may face as a result of double conversions.  The price of your holiday includes( unless otherwise stated) Government Bed Tax, which is Mandatory  under  Maldivian Law, and any changes to the Government Bed Tax or other future taxes may result in an increase in your quoted price after our quoting to you.  Such increase to quoted prices may also occur as a result of increases in international fuel prices or other factors beyond the control of us or our suppliers.

Advertised Information
Every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of the information on our website. However, because copy is necessarily written some time in advance, advertised details, facilities, schedules and rates may occasionally be changed or cancelled. Changes may, therefore, be made to the particulars contained on our website at any time before the contract with you is made. We will notify you of such changes prior to confirmation of your booking.

Child & Infant Policy
The discounts offered for Children & Infants  on accommodation, meals, transfers  and other services  vary from resorts to resort, and the ages each  resort or service provider considers as Children and Infants vary. Please note that most hotel/resorts are very strict and require children's or infants date of birth before traveling and the child should not graduate to the next age group during his/her stay in the Maldives, if the child or infant does graduate to the next age group during the stay in Maldives, he/she will be considered belonging to the higher age group for the entire duration of stay in the Maldives. Please ensure that you inform us prior to booking if you are traveling with children or infants.

No of persons per room
All resorts/hotels/ and vessels has a maximum number of adults, children and infants that can be accommodated in a room and also have an extra bed policy which govern the if and the number of extra beds provided. If you intend to accommodate more than two people in a room you must specifically communicate this to us and we will forward you the resorts/hotels/ vessels policy on the matter.

Airport Transfer
irport transfers are done by Slow Boat, Speed boat, Seaplane & Domestic flight or a combination of these. In most cases your transfer ( to hotel/resort/vessel) will be a combined transfer, which means it is not a private transfer and you will  be joined by other guests going to the Hotel/Resort/vessel or those close by and you may need to wait for the other guests to come out from the Arrival Terminal, every effort is made to keep such waiting time to a minimum. Seaplanes operate from  0600 hours to 1800 hours, and the last Sea plane flights leave from the Airport around 1700 hours, and if your flight to the Maldives lands later than 1600 hours , then you would probably have to stay the night on the Airport Island or Male' and your transfer to Resor/Hotel/Vessel would only be done the following morning. If your transfer is by Domestic Flight, p-lease note that the transfer would be subject to their schedule.

We strongly recommended that you take out comprehensive travel insurance covering all members of your party. You may need to take out additional cover for activities such as scuba diving.

If you have a complaint about your holiday, you must inform the hotel/resort or service provider immediately who will do their best to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved by the hotel/resort or service provider, you should contact us by telephone and follow it up by writing to us within 7 days of your departure from the Maldives.
